As you probably know, the City of Buffalo is filled with amazing houses built at the the turn of the century. Just like the houses on Delaware Ave., these homes have everything built from the best materials.  The wood paneling, staircases, molding and trim were hand carved by true craftsman of their time.  

The project you'll see below is a window restoration for one of these prestigious homes.  Back in the early 1900's, every window that went into these houses were custom made to fit. That means that when it comes time to replace them, you have to custom make each one.  No two windows have the same dimensions and this project consist of over 90 custom window sash.  We start with raw pieces of wood that will be precisely milled, glued, sanded, shaped and glazed to exactly match the window that it replaced.
